UK Country Cottages for Rent are Becoming Popular

For those of us with mobility problems, holidays can bring up all sorts of different challenges. A practical solution is on a self catering basis and there are many cottages for rent around the country which can be used by the less able.

If the disabled member of the family is in a wheelchair then the cottages for rent will need to have appropriate facilities: extra wide doors, ramps, bathrooms with appropriate access and fittings, level access from car parks and so on. Some are arranged on two floors, the ground floor provides wheelchair access and facilities (wide doors, lower units, wet room, etc) for a disabled person and a carer. The upper floor accommodates the able-bodied members of the family.

It is an ideal arrangement and becoming more common throughout the country. Cottages for rent no longer just provide disabled or able-bodied accommodation but have the whole family enjoy their holiday together.
